I'm outa here

Have a good weekend all. Wife and I are going to the Black Hills for some 4-wheelin' and boondockin'. The hills sure are pretty this time of year. All the leaves turning colors. Maybe I'll take some pics and let ya see what you're missing.

HMMM, sounds like good subject matter for a new thread. Only rule is you have to have your truck in the pic too.

Good luck Rickatic! Waiting for good news. Been thinking about ya.

Well I've been there many times, and your right it's beautiful. Made many years of riding to Sturgis sd for bike rally. Just don't have to much fun.

Thanks HD.

Yea, we will be stayin just Southwest of Sturgis and East of Deadwood. We'll be cruisin' around an old mining town called Galena. Lots of trails and rocks to climb over.

Have a good weekend all.

Yea, as long as you have one picture with your truck in the background maybe the mods will allow.

Can you define the word "boondockin".

It sounds like having some sort of fun (legal or illegal), but the funny part is I'm from Texas and I'm not sure what that means!

Can I add a picture of my truck in dreary Ohio sitting in the drizzle? Maybe with a thermometer showing temps in the 30's too?

Anyway, to the OP - I hope its a fun trek. I wish I could get out and do that.

Can you define the word "boondockin".

"Boondocking" is the term used to mean "Roughing it", well as much as possible with a huge 30+ foot toy hauler. No external amenities.

I love the places my F-350 takes me and my wife. It allows us to enjoy life. A very relaxing weekend and much needed time away. Go enjoy your Ford truck.

I was doing just fine sitting here relaxing after work until I saw your post.

Looks like a fantastic place! I don't know if I will catch much of the fall foliage, but over Memorial Day weekend a buddy of mine from college and I went to Smokey Mountain National Park - over 20 miles of backpacking and ~3000' up the first half and back down the second. I love the outdoors

Beautiful country side and great product coverage as well. Going camping with our pop up trailer and kids this weekend locally south orange county. Nothing like your outing! This truck of mine is going to be OVERKILL for the 4k trailer it will be pulling this time. Still can't wait to get out with the kids while the wife has a girls night out. Will post some pics after the weekend.
