Hi all. I need help, I have a leaking wheel cylinder on the front of my 64 f600. the cause has just about sent me mad,I have spent more money on this truck than the national debt but it still wants to fight me. the whole brake system has been rebuilt, the wheel clyinders have been stainless sleaved new rubbers but still it leaks down the inside of the backing plate when parked overnight. the only thing that does not look right is the push rod from the brake shoe does not enter the wheel cylinder in a straight line, it is angled up slightly is this correct?could this push the piston of square in the wheel cylinder? while writing this I had a thought could the leak come from between the sleave and the body of the wheel cylinder? any help would sure be appreciated. thanks Brian.
I went the other way and bit the bullit and put new wheel cyl,2per wheel on a 64 F700 and had no problem other than haveing to replace booster. Nice thing it had lifetime warrenty on it.
Could it possibly be the bleeder valve is not seating properly and that is the leak you see? I have never had a wheel cylinder sleeved, but I could see how a bleeder valve or seat might be damaged when the machine work for the sleeve was done. If so, the leak would be exactly in the location you described.

Old Harley I have to go with you on this one.. I had my left front bleeding down like that, and I replaced the bleeder... problem solved! It was leaking out under heavy breaking, and then would drizzle down the plate... so it was sporadic!
G'Day again. thanks for taking the time to reply, after spending most of the day the leak has been found Its coming from between the sleeve and the body of the wheel cylinder. but as always a new problem may have have been found the part number on the wheel cylinder on the truck is C1TT can't read the rest of the casting numbers and in my Australian parts catalog it shows C4TZ2062 B for the L.H. AND C4TZ2061 B for the R.H.side, could this be the reason the rod from the shoe into the cylinder is not a straight line. the cylinder is a single end and 1-1/16" dia.any thoughts? Brian.
Bill Aka NumbersDummy is the guy you need to get info from.. He can probably give you the best info on the original parts for that Model,, I doubt the pickup Cylinders would work, but I could be wrong. Bill could at least clue you in to the correct part number, and who might have them. Or maybe at least give you a number to Cross reference..

But as always a new problem may have have been found, the part number on the wheel cylinder on the truck is C1TT can't read the rest of the casting numbers. After 1956, numbers marked on parts are ID engineering or casting numbers, not part numbers!
My Australian parts catalog it shows C4TZ-2062-B for the L.H. and C4TZ-2061-B for the R.H.
1964/67 F600 with 14" x 2 1/2" Front Hydraulic Brakes

C4TZ-2062-B .. Left Front Wheel Cylinder - 1 1/16" / Obsolete (20)
Dunno why your parts catalog shows the sides to be reversed. Maybe it's because y'all drive on the wrong side of the road.
1964/67 F600 with 15" x 3" Front Hydraulic Brakes
C4TZ-2061-D .. Right Front Wheel Cylinder - 1 1/8" / Obsolete (3)
C4TZ-2062-D .. Left Front Brake Cylinder - 1 1/8" / Obsolete (9)
