Leaking wheel cylinder?

I recently refurbished a Dana 70 axle which was installed on my van. When it sits for a period of time (longer than over night), brake fluid leaks out of the bottom of the drum onto the inside of the wheel (driver's side). It's very minute, has taken two months for the fluid level to go down a quarter of an inch, but the issue needs to be addressed.

Since it is a full floater with the "one-piece" hub/drum, checking brake components is a pain. The only thing I could come up with is that my newly replaced wheel cylinder is leaking. Could it be anything else? Not really a whole lot in there. And if it is faulty, any suggestions on why a new one is doing this?

I want to get the best idea of how to prevent this before I fix it so I dont have to do it again. I'm not sure if the passenger side has this problem, I think it might, just not as bad.

Any suggestions/comments are appreciated, thanks.

Could be a cracked flare on the brake line. I have seen them seep down the outside of wheel cyl and run into the inside of the backing plate. I would look that over real close before I pulled them darn axle-drum- wheel brg- well you know.

Think I have checked that before and it was negative, new lines on the axle. Never hurts to check again though, will have to wait for it to stop raining to be certain. From what i remember it was seeping out of the adjustment hole (lost the plugs, never got around to getting new ones), and would pool at the bottom lip of the drum right before it rolled out onto the tire. So it exits out the two spots- the hole and the puddle. So I am pretty sure it's inside dripping all over everything.

Is there a common mistake when installing a wheel cylinder? I know the pins were on the little notches and everything seemed to be lined up properly, but they are the first ones I've done.

I understand these are reman wheel cyl. You did not rebuild these your self right? I have installed more than one remanufactured wheel cyl to find the rubber cup installed backwards causing this problem. I always disassemble remaned wheel cyl and make d**m sure they are in the right way.
Hope it is just a cracked line or flare on the line.

No I did not rebuild them myself, bought them. I take it reman are the common ones parts stores sell? I generally try to pay extra to get new parts, but I wasn't given an option on the cylinders.
