To all:
having trouble with a leaking dipstick at the pan, loose nut to start with on 96' powerstroke. I understand there is an update to fix but international is having trouble finding the update kit. There has been a 'tsb' written, HELP is needed
make sure you don't drop the parts into the pan....I recommend using a set of needle nose vice grips to hold the "inside parts" in place while you replace the oring.
also holy cow! you have been a member since 2006 and only have 6 posts... that's pretty dang impressive
That is kind of impressive, but I know quite a few friends of mine who were on here way before me and have less posts. They just get on to read and use the info. Totally fine...I just tend to have questions even when its spelled out for me. lol

dont need that with the kits.
They send you a bottle brush with them.
YOu just shove the bottle brush though and it doesn't go anywhere.

I like the moderators who get high any mighty on me and have been a member since like 2008, and i've been on here since 2001.
lol I hear ya William. I think itd be hard to be a moderator seeing as you need to be objective. And when it comes to certain things everyone has an opinion and could be hard to not abuse the power when you disagree lol.
I like all the moderators on here though. I havent had any problems (partially cuz I dont post all too often).
