Yes, but it was just the insert, no shell. They have stainless shells, but in their catalog it shows the insert and shell as being one item, under the part number for just the grille shell only. They do have stainless shells, but for about 200 bucks I beleive.

Hmmm. How was the quality on the grill insert? $200 doesn't seem like a bad pice for the shell ($75 sounded better ). From the way they gave you a full refund it seems as though they are legit, so if the quality is there it might still be worth it...

I just can't bring myself to pay the crazy money for a new one or spend the time "polishing the turd" that I have.

The quality seemed great, the plastic was strong, it wasn't flimsy or anything, the finish seemed cheap though, I mean it looked good, it just had that cheap feeling. They had inserts that were cheaper I believe they were like 35 bucks, they came in argent or charcoal.

Ouch! $110 for shipping? Might be a good time to start polishing the turd after all...

Having bought a similar grill from JC Whitney I will be blunt. 1) it's not stainless steel. 2) It's not annodized aluminum like our OEM's are/were. 3) It's brushed soda can aluminum. 4) I can bend the aluminum with no weight using two fingers. It's so pathetic it's not funny. 5) I wouldn't pay $2 for the grille again. I am lucky JC Whitney took it back and paid for shipping.

Are you still looking for 79 grille and trim? I,m in western new York and two complete sets. One black and crome one all crome complete with head lights and turn signals still attached. True to sell them local not one call. May just nail them to the garage wall as suggested.
