I just got my march issue of Four Wheeler in the mail today. In 4 wheel parts add they have a GENUINE STEEL grille for $145 with free freight. Does anyone have one of these or ever heard anything good or bad about them? I'd like a grille for my truck but i'm trying to figure out which one.
Thanks
Don't go with a PUTCO grille. They are of shoddy quality.
Thanks FXSTC I have heard that before from some other people. I gues there bolt on one that goes over top your grille is ok but that's not what I was looking for. I want the whole replacement insert.
I'm not positive but I think Genuine Steel is a 4 Wheel Parts brand. They pushed some GS nerfs for the Nav. on me a few years ago when I was pricing Smittybilts. They seemed like good quality, the only thing I didn't like was the step was an insert over a cut, not an indent. I siliconed around the step to keep water out. They have held up fine, so for the price they did the job.
If the price is right and you like the style go for it. It is always nice to have a guinea pig!!
Never heard of that grille. I went with a Stull which was a PITA to install but looks great. I got mine from Summit for around that price that you mentioned (I believe). Check the gallery for pics.
I purchased the stull one piece replacement for my new truck that I dont have yet. It was around 350.00. Thats more for the product but in return.
1. Installation time about ten minutes.
2. OE grill will be boxed in perfect condition for reuse or other.
