Rear fuel tank selector problem

Hey guys I have a 95 f150 2wd 4.9I. When I switch to the rear tank the truck bogs and shuts off immediately. Also the fuel gauge constantly reads well above full. Any ideas on what I need to replace? Im guessing the fuel pump & sender? could the selector valve be bad?

https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...mp-wiring.html Click on this link and look at the wiring diagram posted by subford.
You don`t have a selector valve so you can rule that out. However check that the change over switch is good and check the condition of the wiring at the tank.
Not an expert but it could well be that the pump is bad.
