Good old post

Just wanted to put some good vibes out there. Have been on fte for years. I got my new 6.7 psd just a few short weeks ago, replacing my 2005 6.0 navistar pos IMO. This truck rocks. Solid mpg's, awesome takeoff, great interior features, great ride, just an all around great truck. I can't wait to pull something with it. Just got 550 miles today so I think this weekend I will pull the boat 8000 lbs down from the mountains this weekend and bring her home for the winter months (if you can even call our California winters, winter at all!!!) I know a lot of people post with problems but I can't say one thing bad except that my wife is tired of hearing me talk about my truck.

I'm happy with mine as well. It tows much better than my old 6.0 ever did. I'm getting 2 to 3 MPG better than the 6.0, it's quiet, and has a flat torque curve that comes in at a low rpm.

It's amazed me several times when passing people on a 2-lane highway and it's going 90 with no fuss, noise, vibration.... nothing but power and torque!

The only things I've found to complain about are the silly coat hanger location in the back and my cooled seats don't work very well on a consistent basis. Ford did a lot of things better on this version of the Super Duty.

Kep4- how do you like your 5100 shocks? Were you able to notice a ride difference with that simple change? Would you recommend them.

The front shocks made the biggest difference in overall ride quality. Much better control and not as much bottoming out over parking lot bumps.

The rear shocks didn't make as much difference when unloaded, but the control is better when I'm towing. I'd definitely buy them again!
