You're lucky you didn't fry some injectors William.........or was that going to be your excuse--LOL?
Very intuitive Mr. Tim.
I had a contribution/ balance test performed right after I put in the new FICM, just to look see. With smoothing off, it was as close to flat as I could wish for. I have to find another excuse now.
i appreciate all the help and yes while it did not leave me stranded away from home it is at the house and messing up my weekend plans(although i do have a back-up my 05explorer) i was hoping to use the truck this weekend for hunting. hopefully not on the injectors will have to get a balance test done when i get the FICM back.
i called FICMrepair.com and the guys there were helpful and seemed very knowledgeable i will be sending mine to them tomorrow and the truck will be back on the road hopefully by tues/wed as i definitely need it next weekend
