Welding front and rear diff

86 F250 351w 9in lift.

id like to get better traction in the mud. Seems that when i get hung up i cant get enough rubber moving to get out. I have it in 4lo all time. I know the 3.55s and 38s arent a good combo in any way, but it seems to turn them pretty good. Would it be a good idea on the D44 and 10.25? The truck is a dedicated toy and has 3.55 gears in it. Or will i end up breaking the front diff "faster"

Whacha think?

Welding the front is a recipe for breakage and it'll drive like total crap. You'd be best off putting in a limited slip if you want some sort of traction aid up front.

Put a Detroit locker in the rear differential and put an air locker in the front differential
which you can turn on or off with a switch.

You can weld them up or put mini spools in them(I guess they make them for those diffs?) but it will turn it into a strictly off-road truck. As in trailered to the scene of the action and then trailer back, no pavement driving.

It is strictly a off road vehicle that gets trailered anywhere it goes
