We use Snap-On pitman arm pullers and they are much heavier duty and allow you to really torque on them. We have broken a couple though. Every once in a while you will get a pitman arm that just won't come loose no matter what. I've even had a case where we resorted to a cut off wheel to slice the arm in several places before it broke loose. Be very careful if you decide to use heat. You don't want to melt the seals in the steering box! Spray the hell of it with penetrating oil and let it sit for a while. If you have access to an air hammer you can try hammering on it while applying tension with the puller.
As far as the track bar bolt...again soak it with penetrating oil and then try tightening it a bit with the impact wrench, then try backing it out. If you had access to a torch you could simply heat the nut a bit and could then buzz the bolt right out.
I found a place here in CT that has done several Superduty lifts as well as other custom truck work. They are charging me $475 for the installation. Truck goes in today and he's doing the lift tomorrow. I should be able to pick it up tomorrow night. Can't wait!

That seems like a good price to put it on. My truck only had about 7000 miles on it when I put mine on. I only had to put a box end wrench on the puller to get my pitman arm off. Lets see some pic.s soon.
This may sound dumb, but did you grease the threads on the puller? If you don't, the threads sieze up as you apply pressure, and nothing will move. I know that sounds obvious, but I can't tell you how many times I've helped friends with their vehicles and ran into that issue.
I did grease the threads on the puller and also soaked where the bolt goes through the pitman arm with oil but it still wouldn't budge. I think what I needed was to apply some heat to it but unfortunately I didn't have a torch. Thanks for your advice though!
