I know this has been discussed several times. If not driving on a smooth surface and I mean smooth, it rides like crap. You feel every tiny crack in road. My question is if you swap the springs for v/b codes. Will it not ride a little rougher with truck springs? I know I got to do body mounts. Will that cause it to feel every bump in road?

is it 4x4? or 2WD? first thing i would look into is the shocks.
My ride was greatly improved when i swapped out for new springs, you should notice a huge difference. My was a lot better with the heavier springs. Mine @ 80k were sagging & bottoming out, great mod idea
Curt is yours 2 or 4wd? I have ridden in an ex with 200k and 4wd and it rode and drove alot better than mine. Mine about jars you to death on the smallest bump. I was curious about the stiffness over the stock springs changing over to the 350 springs. Will I have to swap out my shocks? Will there be enough movement on my 2wd shocks? Thanks for the advice.
I'm sure there is around 70 in them. I have not adjusted since I towed my camper, which I just sold last week. I will adjust to 55-60 and check it out.
Wel I checked tire pressure and it was 60 all around. My wife and I just go back home after a trip out and she said she is about tired of the constant jarring she feels while riding in this truck. She said it did not ride like this when we got it. And she is rght. I was all about trying to get new springs and such and then I thought about it.I had chenged fro Michelins to Firestne AT's about year ago. And also intalled a sway bar. Do I really need a swaybar on a 2wd truck?? I do tow a TT with it sometimes. I just bught one because everybody else had one. My wife says you need to do something about this ride!! My dillema is do I change out the springs?? Changing to truck springs to me makes me tink of a harsher ride. Ditch the sway bar? I just dont want to spend a ton on changing out springs and it not help he problem. Anybody out there with a 2wd Ex let me know yor set up. tires, springs, shocks etc. Thanks
