They do weld the Ends of the Bigger round tube sometimes to deleate it and Stop the flow Its done like this sometimes to have a EGR Deleate but to remain stock looking but probably Not the case here

If it were me Id try and find a stock intake and put it back on
Those AM filter setups let dirt suck in on some of them

Leave it for now till you get it running good again

Don't fill the degas bottle to the max line, only fill it to the min level line. I keep mine a little below that even. Could be part of your problem if you're overfilling your system.

There have been a few issues with the Black Onics head gaskets Stick with OEM there other than that the kit looked OK

might be able to get a better deal if you got the OEM parts from tousley ford or parts guy ed both have great prices

and then if you want an EGR deleate get it from another vendor
just keep in mind I went with the Sinister EGR deleate and lost some of the turbo whistle its still there just not as much
I hear it from the wife about the whistle isnt as much anymore since the deleate and she says I need to put it Back
IDK what to do If its GONE theres nothing to fail shure did like the whistle
sorry benny. i was just making a suggestion. from an engineer's point of view, and from personal experience, if one has to change the oil cooler, even if the egr cooler is fine or fairly new, it's advisable to also change the egr cooler. apparently, the ford master techs have also recommended tat to me. tat recommendation also came down from ford as well. jus my 2 cents.

i believe i'll chime in when asked.

the square ones suck unless its a BPD one thats been rebuilt

the round ones already has guts like the BPD one very Few failures they should have stuck with the round ones

Update...took my battieries in last night to have them tested, they said they were discharged a bit but they were fine so probably alternator MAYBE starter. I took the alternator in today and it was bad. I also replaced the reservoir cap (OEM part from Ford) and I don't know why but I have confidence that it will fix the problem. Also decided I'm going to sell it, it's a great truck but I saw my life flash before my eyes (and a LOT of money) when I had this problem and I don't want to have any of the typical 6.0 problems and a 500 dollar a month truck payment is more than what I want to pay for a truck that I don't really need, especially here in San Diego...so if anyone knows someone who's looking for a 6.0 let me know.
