There were several updates on the auto trans. Prices can vary a lot. The value is going up on clean trucks because of the 50K price tags on new ones and people are tired of paying 5K to fix the late model trucks. Look at the little things. Condition of brake lines, steering components. Things like that. Try to get him to give you his number. 4 to 5 K isn't out of line on a clean trucks. Not meaning road dents and prefect interior either. The parts you don't see are the important ones. You can have nice paint on a POS. Being 2x4, It won't have the value of a 4x4 for most people so 4 to 5 K should be out of line for it, I would think.

I would guess $1000-$3000 in my area. It depends a lot on where you live. If the truck is rusty, then the vale goes down a lot. If it runs well and has new parts and is in really good condition overall, 3K is not out of the reasonable price range. At least in DFW.

what state are you in?
in new hampshire that is a $1500 truck on it's best day
however in the south where they have many rust free or very little rust trucks it will fetch a higher price
