There are more pictures on the dealers website. I don't know. a 6 year old 6.0L with 2000 miles sounds like a problem child to me.
From what I read the 6.0 dies not like to sit for a long time. It has problems when not exercised regularly. The springs look clean with little road grime and the rear hitch looks like there is little weathering too. Perhaps a carfax will give the history including any recorded service or registration and the mileage.
That's the dealer's listing under Ford's dealerconnection.com website. They have their own site that shows more photos, including one with the odometer:
I don`t know about the mileage either? it is possible. even though it is 6.0L the price is right, and the miles are low enough that you can do the 6.0 mods and not have much future issues. I would like to see odo pics too! and a story.
it's going to need new seals. I wouldn't be surprised if the trans and motor didn't start leaking oil/fluid within 1-2,000 miles. if the seals aren't kept lubricated, the dry out. In a stored container or not.
$37,000 is way too much IMO. especially for a XLT. very cool find though
edit: not to mention the turbo rebuild, EGR cooler, oil cooler, coolant flushes, fuel system flush/replacement...I shudder to think of the gelled diesel
