Fuel Efficiency
Just found out today my gas mileage or kilometerage is 15 Liters/100km
Then main reason for this thread is, where I work I have to drive about 45-60 minutes. Now at 15L/100km is that a good combo? is my truck getting decent mileage for its age? mind you the plugs are a year old, the wires im not sure about 3 years (they are ford racing wires). K&N air filter, fuel filter is 1 year old. and I cleaned the MAP and MAF bout a year ago also.
my tank is about 100 liters in size and its the 4x4 with the off road package (skid plates and heavy duty shocks)
Im just wondering, I think i get about 500-600 kilometers to a tank, im not too sure if that is highway or not. I will find out this week while driving to work and back and that makes it a 108 kilometer round trip.
Thanks for any input

EDIT: I do have a hole in my exhaust in the Y pipe which is prob my main contributor to any gas mileage problem and the wires are a bit old. Those are the only things I can think of that could give me poor fuel efficiency
I also had a tonneau cover on the bed though.
Most basic stuff for fuel efficiency, make sure your plugs, air filter, wires, and all basic maintenance items are in good condition.
Biggest factor for your efficiency is gonna be how you drive, keep a light foot, avoid hard braking, accelerate smoothly, keep it around 100km-110km on the highway.
