DOT Inspection
Over the weekend, Some friends and I were discussing our equipment trailers and this new DOT inspection. If were expected to pass the inspection then are are we suppose to have our 5th wheel campers inspected annually?

5th wheel would not need it unless your state does an annual inspection.
Here in md private use stuff does not require and annual inspection.
And so far only gas power trucks/cars get smogged.

Here in Texas, we have to have an annual inspection on our Travel Trailers be it TT or 5ers. The sticker is the same as a motorcycle inspection sticker.
DOT inspection? Is this from the state of Wisconsin or do you have something Federal in mind?

I thought it was federal from the way the group was talking. But now I'm thinking its state since our State Troopers are doing all the enforcement. I'll have to call someone this workweek.
