I've searched and am confused so I have a couple questions.
The truck is a 1968 F350, i believe it has the 12 1/2" drums. If so I can use those spindles correct? If so I will only have to buy a hub/rotor assembly and the caliper mount bracket, correct? I have the proportioning valve. I want to use the dual piston calipers as it's an f350. Do they require a special caliper mount?
Are the drw front hubs available new or do I need to source them used as well. Can the hubs from say a 1989 drw truck be used?
So if I find a 68/72 it's a bolt on swap if not will I need spindles and brakenpartsbonly or will I need the entire I beam? Wanna make sure the kingpins didn't change size.
Can dual piston calipers be fitted to single piston holders?

Some F250's have single piston calipers, some have dual piston calipers. All F350's have dual piston calipers.
1968/72 F350's with disc brakes are not easy to find, and since you also want P/S, buy a 1973/79 F350 donor. That way you'll have all the parts you need.
While P/S was available mid-year 1969 thru 1972, it was an option, so not all F350's had it. P/S became standard equipment in 1973.
Will the hubs from say a 1989 f350 fit on a spindle from say a 1974 f350? I'm finding spindles but no hubs.
Will
No, they will not. Like number Dummy said, buy a 73-79 F350 donor, then the entire suspension, I-beams and all, will bolt into your truck. You can also take the power steering, master cylinder and brake booster as well. It's so much easier to use a donor since you can take the lines and everything. If having a donor at your place isn't feasible, then go to Pull-n-save or equivalent and take everything you need off one of theirs. The wrecking yards are full of these trucks. Good luck.
