New air filter setup
Just put these on. Two 48mm Emgo pod filters attached right on the throttlebody. I guess I'm lucky to have a 95 with a MAP instead of a in-line MAF sensor, otherwise this wouldn't have worked. I noticed alot better throttle response and even alittle more power. Just thought I'd share for anyone wanting to get rid of the restrictive air box system.

But now you don't have that fun little clip for the PCV hose!! It could SAG!! Aaahh! Seriously though, way to think outside the box. Personally, I feel those might be a tad small, and suck a lot of hot air, but the 300 isn't really a hot engine to start with.

hate to rain on ur parade but that isnt really doing much but sucking in warm underhood air. i run a warmed up EFI 300 and i am still running the stock airbox and ducting, best set up as there isnt much restriction. i would return it back to stock, use a high quality paper filter and wrap the entire set up in HVAC ducting wrap to insulate it.

I like this, but I'd be concerned that the filters are a little small. I dont think its really doing much for the engine (but does any intake mod?). It does free up lots of space under the hood though! now you have room to mount an air compressor!
