My daughter and I just made a 200 mile trip in the 56 f600.
went to a Billetproof car show with lots of patina (pre 64 hot rods and customs no billet parts allowed) glad they let us into the show... the man at the gate said "no billet on this truck" and waved us in. It was a great father daughter day!
Here's a coworker's F1. He's the one that has the F3 waiting for me to get. And, yeah, that is my roof section he used from my F6 last year. 3" chop. Perhaps more rust than patina, lol.
BTW, an old school body man and painter told me that he uses pieces of cardboard when trying to get faux-tina on his paint jobs. He just rubs the cardboard on the painted vehicle until primer starts to show through. He told me that the effect is much more controlled than using sandpaper. I haven't tried it yet, but will attempt soon.
Borrowed these from the HAmb, hope ya don't mind a few door logos etc.
Sorry, No Patina on this one...
And if I ever started my own business, I would maybe use thsi name and have to adapt this logo and paint it on a truck or a panel Van for my work truck.
