What are you wanting to do with it? Hi-power stereo system w/amps, run lots of lights and other power robbing accessories. Well if so join the club.
You can find alternators on EBAY that range from stock 65amps up to 160+amps. Shoot some even give you the new lead wire from the battery. Prices run up to about $200.
You could hunt through junkyards in your area. The best bet there is look for vans they usually came with a bigger alt, I think you could also try looking at Towncars also.

Powermaster makes the best aftermarket alternators. You can get 140amps at idle, 200 at highway speeds and their warrantee service is excellent (no affiliation). They bolt right in.

Most alternator shops (rebuilders, not service shops) can rework your stock alternator to provide just about anything you'd need. If you go that route, you'll also need to upgrade your alternator wiring. The aftermarket alternators are supplied with new wiring harnesses.

I have to agree that Powermaster would be the best choice. I have thier 200amp alternator part #9503, Battery Isolator #904, and thier starter motor #9503. I am basically a loyal customer of Powermaster for future projects. Not only that, Powermaster has the best customer service that I have experienced in the aftermarket world.

The main reason for the high amp Alternator and the battery isolator, I am planning on adding a second battery. Along with a few more electrical components like winch, lights and what other additional electrical components I may install.

Hope this helps
