With over 50k on my 35s and 2.5" level ford claims my lower ball joints are shot. No big deal, as I kind of planned on premature failure due to the mods. I've done some searching on the 04-08 trucks and the consensus is Moog are the best for replacement. Is this still the case? I am a little surprised that they are actually the cheapest at $27. Is this basically the same procedure as the 04-08? Only reason I ask is because the leveling kit appeared to be the same but was not.
Bronco could you tell they were bad when you drove it? I am just curious if there is any tall tell sign when your driving that your ball joints are bad. My 09 has 75K on it and I am about to have new bilstein shocks installed and was wondering if I may need to replace the ball joints as well?
Hmmm... I will be looking at them at Rock Auto for that price also when the need arises! I was just doing a quick search, I was leaving for my sons baseball game so I didn't have a lot of time.
