just got my chip back from dp and WOW!! this thing runs now!! lets just say the IU campus is getting a wake up call lol but anyways i def. got the bug now. so far im running stage 1s dp tuner intake exhuast intercooler gauges quick spool kit banks transcom and banks TC. What next? i mean i know i shud focus on transmission but what about 17* hpop? Any advice would be great! Thanks
IIRC your stock HPOP will run stage 1s ok. But if your gonna get one I would go with the T500 from terminator. I am pretty sure it's basically the same thingfor as a 17* but a little better. It runs my twos real well. Guys correct me if im wrong.
2X on the T-500. Can't be beat for the money! (And it will run stage ones very well) Your stock HPOP will run the 1's but you may set a CEL occasionally as it will push it to its limits.
Ok thanks for advice guys.... so next step is hpop. How much does a t500 run? But what kinda benifits will I see from the t500 with my 1s? You think my trannys ok for the moment?
I agree with Mike. And even with that, if you keep your foot down a lot, that trans won't last long. I've got that basic setup, and even with the racer x vb, I don't put my foot down all the way ever. I did a couple times when I first did the mods just to see, now I'm too scared if I do the trans will be laying on the ground in pieces.. Remember its a weak point behind a stock motor..
