I can only tell you the data on 48-50's that we've gathered re: vins shows no big windows on even the late serial numbered 50's. So I doubt it was changed as part of the normal production run.

Replacement cabs is a concept I have never considered and probably is what we have here.

I have only ever seen part numbers listed for complete cabs in the Canadian Body Catalogue. They list cabs and panel truck bodies, painted and trimmed. Cab part # is C7C-8100000. I would guess the US part # would be 7C-8100000. I never found a listing for a bare cab in any of the catalogs, but I know they could be ordered. Like I said, I have actual seen NOS cabs, so they did exist. Must have been some kind of a special order.
