ok cool i get out of school at 2 and on wednesday at 11:30
i got 4 out of the 6 lights installed (still waiting on 2). i quickly realized the screws were s**t and ended up drilling out the first one and getting more stainless steel screws
i think i got them pretty equal, they may not be perfectly level but i dont think anyone goes out of their way to look down there
Greg, i got ambitious and went and bought some of those butt connectors with the shrink wrap and did most of the wiring myself, just have to finish up tomorrow
all lights are installed, and tomorrow i just need to run a wire up into the engine bay following my back up lights wire and find out where to splice them in. my friend that did this said he ran it to his headlight's market light, but hasnt replied to me asking for a picture yet. anyone have one of where they spliced in?
these right?
thats what im using for connecting all the lights and such, im just wondering how i should splice into the licence plate light's power supply to power my lights.
one more question
will i be able to fit two pieces of the 12 gauge wire im using into one 12 gauge butt connector?? what would you recommend if i cant
and should i disconnect the battery when i splice the licence plate wire
