If it fits, an easy way to make sure you are using the same line every time you back it in, (and therefore in the same position), would be to mark where the tire tracks are. A painted stripe or some other type of marker will indicate where the tires are when the trailer fits. All you need to do then is line back up on the stripes or markers and follow them in past the gate. Works especially well when you are not able to make a straight shot.
