Ok so I was going to order my tuner today and they are asking me for my pcm code. So I get home and look around and can't find it. Is it supposed to be on the plug or somthing? I looked with a mirror around the master cylinder I don't see anything. Is there another place I can get this?
Are you getting an SCT? If you have a friend that has one he can get your strategy. If not, you have to wait for the tuner to arrive, read the code yourself, and e-mail it to whoever is writing your tunes. They can e-mail the tunes to you, you download them to the SCT, and then load them to the vehicle.
I butchered my PCM code when I bought my tuner. I got a letter wrong, and got the whole code backwards since I was reading it in a mirror. But Jody at DP Tuner figured out what code it was just from experience.
I think Mike @ 5-star had a diagram on his site for location. Kinda tucked under/back of the fuse panel against the side near firewall. It took a few min to get and tuner came ready to go outta the package. That is from Mike, and can't say for others.
