Doh!

I got my DP tuner today. I was very excited. I took the PCM off to put the chip on and realized the PCM code was wrong.. I used the mirror method to see the code and I sent them the code backwards...
I called them but had to leave a message. I'm afraid to put it on for now so I'm stuck stock with a DP tuner in my center console..

What code did you send them? I am pretty sure they figured it out and set it up correctly.

I sent 2JLO
It should have been QLJ2.

The O was actually a Q but the little line was so small. Learn from my mistakes people, just take the stupid thing out. Don't be lazy :-p

Does it even matter
I ordered two Dp tuners for my e99 and the bosses 01, never once did I give Jody the pcm code. I ordered them thru Clay. I dont remember him asking me either. When I sent my F5 back to Jody for updates and a new tune we talked on the phone, and he never asked for my code.
Maybe I'm wrong, but I think you'll be fine. Jody would have noticed the typo and called you if it was an issue. Never seen a 2JLQ pcm.

I'm sure you're probably right. But I ordered through clay an it asked me for the code and also on dp's website it asks or it now too. It's probably for rare occurrences that they need it, but if there's a chance it's gonna mess up my PCM I'd rather wait till I hear back from them.

I didn't give them the code but they did ask for the VIN, if I recall correctly...

You might email Clay @ sales@riffraffdiesel.com. He will probably be able to tell you what he sent Jody. He usually responds pretty fast.

X2 on that... or PM him here on FTE, he is quick to reply. Could also give him a call. Clay is a pretty bright guy, I'm sure he probably recognized the mistake and corrected it when giving Jody the code. Good luck man, you're gonna love the new tunes!

It was burned for the correct PCM code. Have you run it yet?

Thanks Clay. I just got off the phone with Dianne and she confirmed that it was in fact burned correct. Gonna get a pot of coffee started then go put it in.
