Hi all....I was wondring if any members that live in SE Michigan could recommend a good custom shop? I live just south of Detroit......I work a ton of hours at work right now and are fortunate to have the extra cash to be able to take to a shop to have the work I want done on it (plus I don't have the means tool wise to do what I want done)...The one shop I did find I went into last week with a list of things I wanted done. The owner said he would get back with me with a price list of the products and labor rate to install....I've called the guy 3 times and everytime I call him he has not even reaserched any of it yet (does he think I'm not serious enough cause I am young and he thinks I'm not gonna spend thousands on my truck?????).....Sounds like he doesn't want my business.....and now I'm at the point were I'm like screw him, I'm not bringing him my business if he does call. I told him I wanted to get started on it all next week while I'm off for 3 days. Any suggestions? Looking to have a lift done along with a stereo system, rims and mud tires, remote starter(Prolly go to Mickey Shorr for that), overhead cab LED lights, tailgate light bar, and tow mirrors installed.. I dont know if he does custom stuff like that, but an old buddy of mines dad runs a trans shop. awesome mechanic. If you want its kerry's high tech transmissions. no promises but its worth a shot. its out in new boston.
