I did some catalog searching this morning to see if I could answer your question (which our esteemed Moderator has) and I don't see anyone (including our host Motorhaven) offering them, so it look's like you'll be stuck going for used pieces or fabbing your own.....
If these are for your frame sawp application, you'll be better off custom building them anyway. Although it would be good to have a couple of old stock ones to match the attachment point shapes with.......
Thanks to all who responded. I can still use the original inners just dont have them. Also thanks for the info on not being able to buy new, that answers my question on the canada forum.
Dan
I held off responding to your last question because I haven't a clue and I thought someone else would jump in.
If your rodding this thing, it wouldn't be that difficult to have a body shop/tin man bend up a set for you. If your rodding it, you could have a streamlined set made up similar to the modern styled ones that are available for the 53-56 at places like Sacramento Vintage Ford (home of the multiple surcharges).
If you're staying stock , then you gotta go with EOM style. There's a few wrecking yards in Calif. and Arizone that seem to have a lot of old tin for these buggers. None of the names come to mind as i could never afford to have tin shipped from the southern U.S. to God's Country - freight charges would kill me.
If you get in dire-straights to find some inner fender wells, there's a salvage yard down here in Central California (Fresno, specifically) that has a couple of "our years" ('57-'60). It's called "Turner's Auto Wrecking". Their phone number is:
(559) 237-0918. Ask for Mr. Turner and remind him that he "has two of these trucks across the street against the back fence". He is pretty fair on his prices and they DO ship.
I hope you find something locally that's easier and quicker, but if all else fails, you could always give this a shot...
Try Gordie Vicent in Neepawa, Manitoba. I discussed his wrecking yard in here recently. He probably has them. He has a web site - try a seach on " G. Vincent" or "Gordie Vincent". I think i put his email address in my recent post....
I've got the two originals that came out of my 54 f100. They have been trimmed already to accomodate the independent front suspension. They're solid, just need to be preped and repainted. If you think they will fit, I'll let them go cheap. I used the polished stainless inner fender wells, so I won't be needing the old ones. John T in Sacramento, CA.
Old post but I just had to aw the good old days. I lived in Oklahoma town of Ardmore bought a 1954 F'100 old oil field rig. Fulkinbery wrecking yard in Marietta Oklahoma F-100 Heaven. When he took in an old F-100.he disassembled it and sold the parts. My bet was he had hundreds of fenders inner fenders cabs frames beds take your pick. I.loved that yard and still think of it today. AJ.
