Broken 4x4 floor shifter assembly

I broke the cast shifter assembly for my 97 F-350. Anyone know a easy way to dissasemble the shifter linkage to remaove assembly for replacement?

The way I remove em is take the 2 bolts out of the plate that the pivot bolts into, work on it in a vice, most likely it broke due to the pivot bolt beeing siezed , next I use heat to free the shifter from the bolt. you will smoke the bushing doing this but a new one is only a few bucks. Dont break the pivot bolt dont think you can get a new one, or its big money. Think a new shifter is about 200 bucks. good luck hope this helps

Thanks. I popped the linkage out today and removed shifter assembly from floor and then removed bracket. I put it in the vice and removed pivot bolt. It was pretty rusted and had to be worked with oil to get out. Thanks for the info.
