So a quick update, the truck is still at the dealer. They had to emergency air-freight the parts in. New fan, housing, serpentine belt and a few other things. They checked the radiator and everything else inside he said it all looks perfect. It'll be another day or two before I get it back, but it gives me time to get reacquainted with my 1991 Toyota 4Runner. They offered a free rental, but I didn't need a truck (yet) and wanted to drive the yota anyway.

I agree. Driving a 20 year old vehicle really makes you appreciate the performance and comfort of the 2011 SD.

Yes. I remember something about fan bearings made in Mexico. Not that I have a problem with that.
