So I just completed installing new plugs. Yes I broke the one in the back on th P.S. and had to buy the extraction tool that worked very well. ANywho after finishing I replaced the fuel air mixture line that is mounted to the firewall on D.S and runs to P.S intake because I damaged it. Truck idle's perfect with a minor miss here and there, once you put ot in gear its acting like i have water in the plug wires missing like mad. Also when you take off if your easy it does well, but get on it and feels like I am riding my Harley it misses so much. I cleaned each and every plug, coil, connections and still no change. Any ideas?? 5.4 triton 140,000 miles.

 

I bet I know what is wrong with it the same thing happened to my freinds I did plugs on for him one of the coil packs is not contacting very well take your coil packs and remove them and put them back on or one coil has went to crap on you but I bet one of them is just not contacting well do the two back ones then drive it and see what happens then it is just process of elimination.

 

Number 8 plug had hairline crack. Must have broke it when I installed it. Runs like a champ.
