My door/light buzzer is very weak and I havent been able to pin point its location. ( i havent searched much either though) Just wondering where that dude was located on the truck. I left my lights on the other day at work and almost killed the batteries becasue it doesent work worth a darn. Truck is a 1991 F350.
if its the chime look under the steering column just above your break/accelerator, buzzer may or may not be near that location, im not sure but I seem to have found they are more central to the HVAC controls, located just behind them, on some trucks its behind the dash above the glove box, so you may need to pull that out too.
heres a thread I started with the whole buzzer topic my self, as I was on a similar quest my friend!
If you talking about the device that bongs when your key's in the ignition and the door is open, or bongs when you start it, it's directly below where the radio is behind the plastic dash. I disconnected mine and threw it in the glove box. Instant silence!.
