That's what it looked like in our area. I would put money on the fact that there will be a whole lot full of flood salvage vehicles. I don't see the insurance company taking a huge hit like that. I hope to be proven wrong.
They will all get salvage titles and sold at auction as usual. The dealership probably has some pretty good insurance for things like this you'd be crazy to think otherwise. Look on co part you see vehicles like this all the time. The insurance makes as much money back as they can selling the vehicles. What the buyer decides to do after, parts, repair & retitle is up to them. I know they say never to buy flood vehicles but i would. These are brand new sure, they will probably need to have the frame repainted but if pa is anything like ct there are vehicles with much worse frames on the road.
So sorry to see that. I hope the ins. companies do the right thing and ensure that these vehicles are destroyed or parted out rather than salvaged.
I'm not sure what Ford Motor Company's policy is but I would not be surprised to find out they get sold at an auction for the fly-by-night dealers to clean up and sell.
