C6 transmission question...
I'll probably be posting a few threads about questions I have about my newish 1971 Ranger XLT. Here's one...
The C6 auto transmission works and shifts great. However, the steps between the gear selections in the column shifter are a little muddy. Sometimes, I think I'm in "R" but it's actually in neutral or in Park. The steps aren't clearly delineated. The shifter feels like it kinda glides through the gears, the notches between the gears are subtle.
Is there a way to improve the "steps" between all the gear selections?
