To start off with, I have been fighting a fuel leak on top the motor for a little over a month now. The problm with finding it was when it was all cleaned off it didnt leak at idle, and it only leaked under load and it sprayed everywhere in the valley. I have been putting die in the fuel at every fill up and finally today I could see where it was. Both lines coming out of the bowl, and where it went into the left head. When I took it apart the rubber sleeves were almost non exsistant. Dealership had the kit for 18.99. Got it all back together and no leaks, and I can get a puff of smoke now. Power seems boosted also. Maybe my milage will go up from 13 also.
Just wanted to report in case somebody else is having the same issue.

Thanks for the info.
Grainger has those parker sleeves as well. I think they sell them in packs of 10. I plan on ordering some soon to keep on hand just in case...
Not a problem. That is what we are all here for. I have earned more on this site about these trucks than anywhere else, and if I can give help I am more than happy to.
Thanks for the links Clay. I would have ordered from you but this is the DD, and Whe I took the line off the head to see what was going on I knew that it needed them NOW and I couldn't wait.

No, that isn't an issue at all. If you would have called and asked me I would have advised you to do the same thing. I only wanted to put that out for others that will end up reading and wondering where they can get them

I know you weren't fussing, I just wanted to clarify for everybody why I went to the dealer

Thanks for the link. I have already done that and the line on passenger side where the strap is at.
