The new Screw

Well, here she is. 2011 FX4 Screw with EB. Got it almost optioned out, everything I could find except Nav.

Immediate plans are Rhino liner, Access soft cover, and front window tinting.

Absolutely love this truck, btw. Huge difference over my '05 with the 5.4L. But I'm not sure how I can maximize mpg if I keep putting my foot into it...

Edit: Can't seem to get pics to come thru...so I put a link in there.

Looking at your image code you need to use a direct image URL instead of the full flikr URL.

Right click the picture, choose "View Image" and use that URL.

very sharp truck indeed.

I wish they made the blackened head/tail lights an option on any truck.

which access cover are you looking at. I'm am very satisfied with my access vanish cover, i like how low it sits compared to the bed rails.

That sure is a beautiful truck. My 2011 doesn't have them (yet) but color-match bumpers certainly look great on these trucks.

I agree with ebexp94 about the color match. I'm a bit biased though as my '06 is monotoned as well. Just as durable as the chrome too!

Thanks fellas. I looked at the Lariat and the FX4, and chose the latter due to the blacked-out lights and the all black interior. I was wondering about the durability of the bumpers in the long run.

For a cover, I'll probably go with the Access Roll-up one, same one I had on my '05. It was easy to install/use, not too expensive, and held up well under snow and heavy rain.

I see it this way. A small scratch or blemish in a painted bumper is easier to touch up/repair than a scratch in a chrome plated bumper. To each their own though.

FWIW as far as the cover...I love my Truxedo. Definitely give their roll ups a look.
