F250 should be a TTB, twin traction beam, a Dana 50. The 350's had a solid front axle, a Dana 60. The 50 uses the same hub, rotors etc, but is not as strong as the 60 because of the independent suspension. Of course the 50 TTB rides smoother.

Is it a regular cab or super cab?

All Super Cab 250's had Dana50 front axles.

Most reg. cab 250's had Dana44HD, BUT some had Dana50's as well.

Easy way to tell, measure the hub...

Dana44HD - 3.5"

Dana50 - 4"

You can notice a difference just by looking at them.

Dana44 HD, my 1990 F250 reg. cab Diesel.

Dana50, 1991 F250 reg. cab Diesel

Dana 44

Measures 3.5 inches, so it's a Dana44....Thanks to all so much....So the 85 f250 6.9 is a Dana 44....and the 95 f250 is a Dana50....Nothing on these axles/spindles are not interchangeacle, Right? ...Both are regular cabs...How do I keep all these sentnces from "running together"?....Have a Blessed Day.....John..

You would be looking for a 7 digit number... Dana Holding Corporation - The Expert Axle Bill of Material... beginning with a 6
