85 f250 4X4 6.9 dieselThis the only number I see on the front axle and is stamped upside down on the front pass side beam.Any gues what it is?--P 74 5 2 then 415 82 196--God BlessJohn--10 bolt pattern
F250 should be a TTB, twin traction beam, a Dana 50. The 350's had a solid front axle, a Dana 60. The 50 uses the same hub, rotors etc, but is not as strong as the 60 because of the independent suspension. Of course the 50 TTB rides smoother.
Measures 3.5 inches, so it's a Dana44....Thanks to all so much....So the 85 f250 6.9 is a Dana 44....and the 95 f250 is a Dana50....Nothing on these axles/spindles are not interchangeacle, Right? ...Both are regular cabs...How do I keep all these sentnces from "running together"?....Have a Blessed Day.....John..
