anyone know where to find out how much to sell your broncos for ? i have a 68 and a 73 and a new baby on the way . hate to sell them but not real top priority right now but i am lost on how much to sell them for. is their a kelly blue book type of referance to use for older vehicles. thanks any help would be good
While Kelly and NADA list prices for them, you really can't go by it. Best way I have found is look on E-Bay for completed listings, and it will give you an idea of what they actually sell for. Prices will range from $400 to over $30K depending on the vehicle.
I've found it also depends on how close to a city, how much U wanna get rid of it, the condition, the buyer, what it's equiped with, yetah, yetah...
Check the typical Bronco sites' "for sale" forums. Neighbor offered $5,500 but mine has alot of extra prts (built this 1 from 3) and he has family w/ 2 - 3 others.
U may need 24 more posts HERE to list it (may B same # on other sites)...
Good luck.
Hey, I know few guys looking for good Broncos and/or projects send me a little info on both and a couple pics. By the way where are you located at?
Thanks Jeff
Jeff, first, she's located in Calif., next, I removed your email address because thats a sure way to get every spambot on the net to hit you up.
If ya'all need to contact each other, post it here and I'll get you in touch.
Hey thanks!
Yeah, really I wasn't wasn't thinking on that one! Some of the small sites you don't run into that problem to much but here with the volume of exposure you could here easily.
I own 3 early Bronco's and 2 of them are in process of frame off restorations. I checked with my insurance co. to find out how to insure them and they require an estimate from a classic car dealer for stated value. Might try that route as well
Some just 1) register/insure it as a regular vehicle (simply state it's value). If there's any discrepancy you can then 2) go the price of an "auto assessor" (often referred thru your insur. co.). The real expense comes in when you 3) hire an antique auto assessor ( & more if it's a Bronco specialist).
When used as a DD I went w/route 1). Our state requires all rd. vehicles B insured. (I even gotta pay a tax [it's an off rd wrk truck right now] for the privilege of owing it/having it on my property)!
