So when I pulled the front clip off of my truck, I had to cut out one of the bushings (from the support to the frame, not sure I'm calling it the right thing) because the head was rusted and socket wouldn't work.
From what I can tell, the only place I can find these are from LMC, as a pair, and it's $80 bucks. This seems expensive to me for a rubber bushing, some washers, and a bolt. Is LMC the only place I can get these? Anyone else found them someplace else?
You can try Dennis Carpenter, Bronco Graveyard and Blue Oval but as best as I can remember thats what I paid for mine.
Oh well. Guess I'll just have to bite the $100 bullet. I did check Bronco Graveyard but didn't see anything there. Their site isn't the best for finding what you need sometimes though. At that price I'm half-way to a complete mounting kit.
Do you just need the bushing? Or the metal insert deal also?
The whole thing had to be torched from the bottom so the bushing and the plates are toast. But, I gotta have it so I can set the engine back in and put the front clip on and start on the body work.
