so far ive been having alotta bad luck with my truck. its a 96 psd with 270xxx miles. i just fixed my oil leak problem which was my hpop leacking everywhere and making the truck run really bad. i replaced the oring and it ran fine. but now, the truck wont even start. it will turn over but it wont fire up. the fuel heater in the fuel bowl broke off. i wasent too concerned about it cause its about 155 degrees outside. so the truck has no fuel heater on it. is why it wont start? any advice is appreciated. thanks
The fuel heater in the bowl is connected to the #22 big fuse under the hood. You prob dont have the wait to part light either. Un plug the heater on the right side of bowl and replace fuse
If the WTS light is out you need to replace fuse 22 under the hood
Agree, if not, check your oil level (how old is it?), the HPOP reservoir level. Are your batteries good? and the starter is spinning as it should?. This beasts need a lot of juice to start.
yeah my oil level is pretty solid. just had my hpop oring replaced so it doesent leak. the starter is spinning, batteries good, and the hpop oil pressure is normal.
the senceor that the fuel heater is attached to is broken. where can i get one?
thanks
bad12 that was a typo. more like 110 degrees haha but to be honest iam not shure how to even check the injection control pressure.. if that can even be checked.. all i can say is that it turns over but it just wont fire up! and the only light that xomes on is the wait to start light for about 2 seconds and its gone.

The lil metal piece broke off my sensor too. Had to in to ford and get it. It was around 60 bucks just for that sensor. the heater cost bout the same too.
man stainless iam starting to get pretty stumped on what the problem might be.. i just unplugged the sensor cable but no go. about 5 minuets ago. just turned over but wouldnt fire.
hmmm i dont know to much about all that.. the ford mechanic had said the hpop is making good pressure and it should run just fine... which it did until today. man this is kinda bothering me lol i think iam officially STUMPED!
