New Rear Diff Bearing..
Easy Job?
I like to think that I have an above average mechanic skill level, but I've never messed around with gears before.
On the other hand is there any shops in the Fairfield/Vacaville Area that anyone could recommend??
The reason why I diagnosed it as the bearing is because there is about a 1/4 to 1/3 inch of play in the rear end, which is probably the reason why the seal busted on me..

If you safely have the rig on jackstands, have a helper run it about 35 mph while you listen. You shouldnt get underneath, but you will hear bearing growl. If theres play in the gears, there could be a bit more wrong than bearings.
