Spark Plug Popping out

It appears to be pretty limited to the 1998-99s. I have heard of some trouble with others but it appears to be alot less frequent. The only thing you can do is replace the cylinder head when the plug goes................BOOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! There is nothing I am aware of that you can do to prevent it from happening. If it does you can expect to plunk down about $2000.00 (unless you have an Ext. Warranty) and lose 2-3 weeks of your Expy. Keep your fingers crossed.

Spark Plug Popping out

1999XLT is right - it's a fairly well-known issue with the 98-99s. Apparently, one or more of the spark plug threads (in the head) are a *tiny* bit too big, so the plug can work its way out. I'm sure some of the plugs just straight out "blow out", but I remember hearing about the threading problem.
