Rear Wiper Problem
Greetings,
Newbie here....love my 02 Limited 2WD, but noticed the other day when there was a lot of dew on the rear window that the rear wiper would start but stop at random position on the rear window. The owner's manual say when it's in INT 1, it should swipe every 3.5 seconds...in INT 2 it should swipe every 10 seconds or so. This stops in either INT 1 or 2 randomly which causes me to manually move it to the ON position and just shut it off to get the blade to return to the proper down position on the window. Suspect the problem is the "stalk" or the a short in the motor in the window. I also suspect this was a known issue as I also have a 98 Expedition that had a similar problem when it was new. Any advise or procedure to troubleshoot would be appreciated.
