E4OD problem please help.
I have a 1997 f250 PSD OBD2 with the E4OD that wants to hold first till redline then shift hard. No codes or lights. It will shift manually. I have searched for days and have found post with similar issues but no sure fix or tests. I replaced and aligned the MLPS last night b/c I also had problems with no start unless I mess with the shift lever. Trans was rebuilt by PO at 150,000 now 183,000 I installed a tugger kit 5000 miles ago with new fluid and filters + inline filter. Fluid smells OK. Speedo and Tach seem to work OK. I cleaned VSS about 7000 miles ago when rear serviced. Does anyone have any good ideas were to continue my search for a cure over the long weekend.
