Transfer case question
Has anyone had a married 205 in a 77-79 f-250 that has some endplay in the out put yokes? I have 4 and they all have the similar endplay in the out put yokes and I was putting new seals and gaskets in one and thought the seals would hold better if the yokes were tighter, not too tight as to heat the bearings, but tighter. I have some books and they spec the end play but no way to tighten it up. Do I need to worry about this or is it fine.

how much end play , there might be shims or steel washers inside to set the play and they can ware with age !
