another brake ? Sorta
I finally picked up a f100. Now I would like to do the brake swap from one of the later model trucks. 73 and later. My question is; is there somewhere I can get NEW zinc coated drilled and slotted rotors for one of the 73 and later swaps? I know where there is a great kit for the rear; I just would like them to match.

Many of the parts for these old trucks are still available at most of the auto parts stores, you just need to know how to ask for them. The online shopping options are a good start. Plug in the truck info from the model you think has the disk style you want and then go to the store and ask to see one. I have had pretty good luck finding just about anything i need for my 68/71 4x4 ford. Sonmetimes you have to pick between two or more options based on dimensions, which is easier if you have an original component to measure as a reference. So far I have been able to purchase all my brake hardware at these stores, but i am still running drums on all four corners.
