Does the 6.0's have a idle sensor? The problem I am having my truck is idling normal then it will drop 200-300 rpm's then back to to normal then jump up 150-200 Rpm's then back down to normal may take 5 min to make the cycle then starts all over again. It is stumbling on take off and hills In final drive gear also No smoke at all. fresh oil, and fuel filter changed cleaned the EGR and resealed gonna have it put on the computer tommorrow just wanting to be prepared on what it could be thanks for any help you have to give

Sounds like it could be ICP failure. Does it surge at all?

Yeah at about 50-65 mph Starts vibrating going up a hill but if you run in tow mode it doesn't do it as bad but the Rpm's are higher (is my thinking) if you lay in to the fuel pedal say to pass it will surge 2-3 times then take off like a rocket same way pulling hills when the turbo spools up it will surge then take off no smoke at all even when you lay in to it

Y'all have to excuse my ignorance of the 6.0 but what is the ICP and what is its function? I am pretty familiar with the 7.3's but this is my first 6.0 and it's a whole new animal from what im use to

The ICP on your 03 is behind the turbo ,a bitch to get to but doable from the top . Look in tech folder there is a great thread on replacing it, couple of hours and your good.

I've been over in the tech folder reading and common symptom seem to be trouble starting my truck starts fine but if all it's going to cost me is 40 bucks I'll throw that at it and I'll know that ain't the problem atleast

ICP(injector control pressure). Do you know someone with a scanner or take it to an Autozone/Kragen place and have it scanned. Write down all codes. Test , verify , repair. Do not throw money at it. Everyone on this side of the screen Are giving "best guess" at your expense. ICP on the 03's do have a very high failure rate though. Look at the 6.0 bible, a wealth of info!
