Ok, I've been having trouble when my 5.8 liter is cold and I go to take off from a light my engine stumbles. So I pulled codes and got 565 - canister purge circuit fault, 625 - electric pressure control driver open, 181 - cruise rich limit. Here's what I've done since then - Replaced gasket between throttle body and intake manifold hoping to possibly clear the issue of running rich with an air leak there, also pulled the cracked rubber line from the evap gas recirculating vapor thing and capped the port going into the throttle body, replaced EGR gasket and discovered I have a leak in the flexible pipe leading down to the header. I'm wondering if this leak in the pipe could cause the stumble by possibly screwing with the o2 sensors? I'm stumped, any help would be greatly appreciated, I also unhooked the battery for 10 minutes to clear the codes so I'll see if they return.
Thanks in advance
Drew
It could mess with the EGR, but probably won't affect the O2 sensor. Anyway, find a replacement and stop the leak then check the codes again, also, check your procedure on code retrieving, if it isn't done right, you might get wrong codes, good luck!.
Will do, I'm spraying it every time I shut the engine off with PB Blaster to get a head start on the lower nut, kind of a tight spot. I had it hooked to a code reader at a repair shop after I pulled codes myself so I think I'm good there.
Thanks for the advice!

If the rich condition exists all the time, then the likelihood of stumbling at throttle tip-in is pretty high. Since the computer automatically compensates for a "lean" condition by enriching the fuel/air ratio, any additional air (vacuum leak) in the system WILL affect O2 sensor readings.
Thanks for this tip!
I think I'm going to wrap it with some muffler repair tape just to stop the bleeding until I can get the pipe changed out.
It runs great when it first starts but as soon as it warms slightly it starts with the stumbling, it was hard to nail this down until just this morning as it has just gotten down into the 40's at night here.
Ok, finally had enough and decided to try the pop can fix, slid that piece of aluminum in between the egr and intake and voilà, no more stumble! Thanks for the direction!
